Quorn Hotels
Our portfolio of clients includes the highly acclaimed Quorn hotel in Loughborough, for whom we were able to create significant energy savings for by providing a boiler control solution.
In August 2010, the management at the Quorn hotel approached us in site of some clarification on the energy usage of their boilers as they initially had no way of knowing whether they were efficient or not.
We were able to implement a boiler control solution which comes as part of our Gateway Building Management Systems (BMS). This then assisted the hotel in monitoring and managing the temperature of their boilers throughout the building.
As a result of this project we identified problems with fluctuation in the hot water temperature and when resolved meant that the hotel saw up to 30% in savings.
